CCI PREVIEW: The Bulls get their first look at the Los Angeles Clippers who arrive at the United Center coming off a loss at Cleveland Sunday. Prior to the Cavs game , the Clippers had run off five straight wins.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are at the apex of Hall of Fame worthy careers. Leonard is averaging 21-6-3. George:23-6-5. When the two are on the court together they are very, very good.
This is a deep team , full of veteran talent. If, I repeat - IF healthy, the Clippers have a chance to make a ton of noise come mid April.
The Bulls play four straight at home and even with their inconsistent play have a legitimate shot at taking on Memphis next Tuesday with an above .500 record. I'm serious. I think the Bulls are capable of going on a 5-7 game win streak.
The Bulls are fifth in the NBA in field goal percentage at 48% and fifth in free throw percentage at 81%. The Clippers rank near the bottom (28th) in points per game at 110 per but allow just the same amount of points -third fewest in the NBA.
