Bulls trade Korver to Atlanta

July 16, 2012 -- The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has traded forward Kyle Korver to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a trade exception and cash considerations.

A nine-year veteran of the NBA, Korver spent two seasons in Chicago after signing as a free agent on July 13, 2010. During his two years with the Bulls, he played in 147 games (seven starts) and averaged 8.2 ppg, 2.1 rpg and 1.6 apg in 21.2 mpg. While in Chicago, he also shot .433 from the field, .425 from behind the arc and .863 from the line.

Korver also appeared in 22 playoff games for Chicago, and posted 5.8 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1.2 apg, .392 shooting from the field and .400 from downtown in 16.8 mpg.
