Bulls sign Adama Sanogo to two-way contract

The Chicago Bulls announced today the team has signed center Adama Sanogo to a two-way contract.

Sanogo, 6-9, 258, averaged 17.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.7 steals in 26.5 minutes through 39 games (all starts) with the University of Connecticut last season. His production in 2022-23 helped lead the Huskies to a NCAA Championship, where Sanogo was later named 2023 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player and earned 2023 NCAA All-Tournament honors. Sanogo led the Big East in scoring (17.2), total points (671) and field goals made (227) – while ranking third in the conference in total rebounds (299). 

The Bamako, Mali native posted collegiate career averages of 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.2 blocks and 0.7 steals in 25.0 minutes across 91 games (87 starts) in three seasons at Connecticut.   

During Sanogo’s three-year tenure with the Huskies, he was a two-time All-Big East First Team selection (2022, 2023), two-time All-Big East Tournament Team honoree (2021, 2023) and earned 2020-21 Big East All-Freshman Team honors.
