Bulls to celebrate Noches ene•be•a presented by H&R Block on March 2

February 28, 2014 – The Chicago Bulls will host Noches éne•bé•a, presented by H&R Block, the team’s eighth commemorative Latino game, on Sunday, March 2, when they take on the New York Knicks at the United Center.

The game is part of the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s eighth annual Latin nights program, Noches éne•bé•a (eh-nay-bay-ah), which will feature seven commemorative games across the league and celebrate the growing support of NBA fans and players across Latin American and U.S. Hispanic communities.

As the league’s marquee program under the éne•bé•a platform, a comprehensive initiative to grow the game of basketball throughout the expanding U.S. Hispanic market, Noches éne•bé•a events will be supported with special telecasts and in-arena festivities.

Players will wear adidas-designed uniforms that display the teams’ names as spoken by the bicultural, bilingual Latino population and Spanish-language TV and radio announcers. On Sunday, the Bulls will wear black jerseys featuring “Los Bulls” as the team name, and the New York Knicks will wear white jerseys featuring “Nueva York” as the team name. The uniforms will also feature the updated Noches éne•bé•a logo and a unique Spanish-inspired pattern on the back of all jerseys. Noches éne•bé•a jerseys and merchandise will be available at NBAStore.com and the Bulls in-arena store.

Singers from Mariachi Monumental De Mexico will open the game with a performance of the National Anthem, and WRTO Radio Analyst Matthew Moreno will provide player introductions in Spanish. The halftime show, also presented by H&R Block, will feature Latin Rhythms, a dance company that promotes the appreciation, spirit and joy of Latin dance.

Fan favorite scoreboard videos and in-game elements will incorporate the Latino game theme, including the Kia la para caidas con premios (parachute plunge) and la cámara del coche (car cam).

The game will also feature Latin-themed music with special performances by the Luvabulls and Benny and the Elevators.
