October 27, 2009 – CharitaBulls and Verizon Wireless teamed up on October 23 before the Bulls tipped-off against the Washington Wizards to present a $34,000 check to Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). The donation was generated as a result of last summer’s Chicago Bulls/Verizon Wireless Charity Golf Outing.

The Bulls and Verizon Wireless will once again host a charity golf outing featuring Bulls legends, current players and other personalities on Tuesday, August 31 at the White Pines Golf Club in Bensenville. For more information, please call the Chicago Bulls at 312.422.4122 or e-mail CR@bulls.com.

All proceeds benefit CharitaBulls, the Chicago Bulls charity and Prevent Child Abuse America. CharitaBulls is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Chicago’s youth by actively supporting educational, recreational and social programs to help make Chicagoland a better place to live. Prevent Child Abuse America engages communities through the important work of strengthening families and valuing children.
