Bulls and Roka Akor to host "Hoops for Hunger" event

WHAT:

On Monday, April 23, the Chicago Bulls will team up with Roka Akor restaurant to host the “Hoops for Hunger” event to raise funds for Chicago Bulls Charities and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Guest attending will be treated to an exquisite menu from Roka Akor’s Executive Chef Ce Bian and get to mingle with Bulls personalities Bill Wennington, Chuck Swirsky, Bob Love and Sidney Green in the restaurant’s Sake and Shochu Lounge. Team mascot Benny the Bull and members of the Luvabulls will also be on hand.

A silent auction including a Derrick Rose autographed basketball, a framed autographed Joakim Noah jersey, a Carlos Boozer autographed jersey, a pair of Bulls tickets and a Roka Akor Omakase dinner for two will be available for guests to bid on.

TICKETS:

Tickets are $50 in advance or $65 at the door and include beer, wine, and a signature cocktail as well as a sampling of a variety of different steak and sushi menu items.

WHY:

Proceeds from “Hoops for Hunger” will support Chicago Bulls Charities and the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Chicago Bulls Charities, the Bulls nonprofit organization, places particular giving emphasis on youth education, health and wellness, and violence prevention. Chicago Bulls Charities annually provides financial and in-kind donations to organizations throughout the Chicagoland area that improve the community.
