Bulls and Good Sports donate sports equipment to local elementary school

March 15, 2012—The Chicago Bulls have teamed up with Good Sports to donate sports and fitness equipment to Mollison Elementary School in Chicago. Bulls Ambassador Sidney Green was on hand for a pregame presentation Wednesday night with the school’s representatives prior to the team’s tip-off against the Miami Heat.

The donated fitness equipment will include basketball, floor hockey, soccer, yoga, kickball and general recreation equipment.

The donation marks the culmination of an essay contest that the Bulls and Good Sports held for all K-8th grade Chicago Public Schools. Applications were sent to all Chicago Public Schools and Mollison Elementary School was chosen as the winner based on their essay. In addition to the equipment donation, the school will receive Bulls school supplies, memorabilia and a guest appearance by a Bulls representative.

This is the second year that the Bulls and Good Sports have partnered to provide sports equipment to Chicago Public Schools. Last year, the donation went to Columbia Explorers Academy, Morton School of Excellence, and Higgins Community Academy.
