Boys and girls ages 9-14 will have the opportunity to compete, win prizes and have fun! Winning teams will receive one trophy per player, a hoodie, t-shirt and two (2) 100-level tickets to 2024-25 Bulls regular season home game. 14U winners will also have the chance to play during halftime of a Bulls game at the United Center.

What are the age groups and divisions?
There will be boys and girls divisions for 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U. The minimum age of players is 9 years old. Ages are as of September 1, 2024.
What if I want to make a team but only have two people?
Teams must have a minimum of three and a maximum of four players to participate. Teams must have three or four registered players by September 6 , 2024 to keep their place in the tournament.
How much is the team registration?
$150.00 per team
What do teams get for participating or winning?
All participants will receive reversible jersey to be worn during game play and to keep.
Winners: Teams that win the pool within their division will advance to the single elimination championship tournament, taking place on September 28. Teams that win their division in the championship tournament will receive one trophy per player, a hoodie, t-shirt and two (2) 100-level tickets to a Bulls regular season game (game date TBD).
How old does my child have to be?
Minimum age is 9, maximum age is 14. All ages are as of September 1, 2024.
Can my child play up or down in an age division?
Players can only play up in age divisions, not down. Any player older than the listed age in the division cannot play in that division (max age in 10U is 10, 11U is 11, etc.). Players can play up in age divisions if they choose, but no alterations to game play or schedule will be made for teams with younger players than the division they are registered for. It is not recommended to play in an age division with more than a one-year age difference. Teams will play in the age division of the oldest player on the team.
What is the skill level requirement to register a team?
Teams will be placed into divisions based solely on player ages and not designated skill levels. There are no co-ed divisions.
Where are games held?
All tournament games will be held at Saint Ignatius College Prep. 1076 Roosevelt Rd, Chicago, IL 60608.
What happens if I can’t make my scheduled game(s)?
Teams must be able to play at their assigned game times. Not being ready at the start of the game will result in a forfeit and will be counted as loss for the team. Games will not be rescheduled.
What if I only have two people when a game starts?
There will be a five-minute grace period from the scheduled game start time, but if there are less than three players after five minutes from the start time, the team will forfeit the game and it will count as a loss for the team. Games will not be rescheduled.
I signed up but can’t make it anymore. What do I do? Are there refunds?
If a fully registered and paid team needs to cancel, please contact us at kidnation@bulls.com. Cancellations made through September 18 will be given a full refund. After September 18, teams will not be refunded.
What if we have to change a player on our team before the tournament?
Teams may adjust their rosters via the team registration system through the published registration deadline of September 11, 2024. Requested roster changes after team registration closes shall only be permitted when submitted on an authorized Player Change Form through the adopted system. No roster changes will be allowed after the published roster change deadline, which is set by tournament officials and is September 11, 2024.
Are attendees allowed?
Attendees are permitted, with free admission.
How many games do teams get?
Teams are projected to have a minimum of three (3) scheduled games unless alterations need to be made to the tournament schedule. Teams will play their assigned pool play games and the winner of pool during qualifying weekend moves on to the championship day. Four pool winners will move on to championship day, where they will play in a single-elimination tournament.
What are the scoring rules? Game rules?
Baskets made from inside the 2-point arc count for one (1) point. Baskets made from outside the 2-point arc count for two (2) points. See the Rules and Regulations (will be linked) for further detail on game formats.
What are the court dimensions?
Games will be played on half courts. The distance for the 2- point arc will be 19 feet 9 inches unless the court has designated markings otherwise.
What size basketball will games be played with?

Will parking be available?
Parking will be provided at all tournament locations. A map will be provided to all registered teams leading up to the tournament date(s).
Will there be medics on-site?
Yes, there will be appropriate medical personnel on site during scheduled games.

When will my team’s schedule be uploaded?
Tournament schedules will be uploaded at least seven days prior to each team’s first game. No accommodations will be made for teams to have their games rescheduled.
How many teams per division?
There will be a maximum of 16 teams per division. Teams that register after the first 16 teams per division will be placed on a waitlist, in order of registration. Waitlisted teams that do not play in the tournament will be fully refunded.
