Bucks, IEWC and Hunger Task Force Block Hunger

IEWC donates money to Hunger Task Force for every blocked shot

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the better shot-blocking teams in the NBA, averaging 5.1 per game, including 2.9 blocks a game from the league’s top swatter, center Andrew Bogut. For the rest of the season, the Bucks are partnering with IEWC and Hunger Task Force in establishing the Blocks Against Hunger program. For every opponents’ shot the Bucks block, IEWC will donate to Hunger Task Force to help feed families in Wisconsin.

IEWC, headquartered here in Milwaukee, WI, is a premier global supplier of wire, cable and wire management products with sales and distribution centers located throughout the world in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, the United Kingdom and Germany.

“IEWC is pleased to partner with the Milwaukee Bucks and their Blocks Against Hunger program to help feed southeastern Wisconsin’s hungry,” said David Nestingen, IEWC’s Chief Executive Officer. “The company’s employee owners have a long history of caring for those in need in the communities in which we live and work.  This initiative continues that tradition.” IEWC is an advertiser on the Bucks Radio Network and Bucks sponsor.

Hunger Task Force believes that every person has a right to adequate food obtained with dignity. Hunger Task Force works to prevent hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger free community tomorrow.
