1975
June 5Compensated $150,000 and two Atlanta 1976 second round draft picks by Atlanta for Atlantas illegal signing of Bucks number one draft pick, Julius Erving, in 1972. NBA Commissioner Lawrence OBrien levied the fine and awarded picks to the Bucks. Bucks retain all future rights to Erving. Hawks were also fined $250,000, payable to the NBA.
