Greetings from the last week of the 2023 NBA offseason. With the season starting in earnest in less than a week with Media Day, it seemed like a good time to hear from Dewayne Hankins, Trail Blazers President of Business Operations, about some of the things you might see at Moda Center in the near future...

Hankins, who has been with the organization for the last decade, discusses what the team accomplished in the offseason, fan enthusiasm for what is in many ways a new-look team, getting the Rip City Remix up and running, the prospect of Portland getting a WNBA team, some of the improvements made to Moda Center, the inaugural In-Season tournament, the ever-changing landscape when it comes to broadcasting games locally, the new “City” jerseys, the leaked court and what’s he’s looking forward to this season.
