ENERGY

Our first Green Game of the season is on October 22nd and is focused on ENERGY. This game is presented by Pacific Power, and our nonprofit partner for this game is Bonneville Environmental Foundation, which educates and inspires the next generation of clean energy leaders through their Clean Energy program. To support these efforts, we hope you will take part in these activities at Moda Center:

  • 5050 Raffle: You’ll see our friends from Clean Energy Program selling 5050 tickets – support them and you might win some money!

  • Silent Auction: Clean Energy will also benefit from our silent auction located at the Trail Blazers Foundation 5050 Raffle booth by entry A7, featuring exclusive Trail Blazers items.

  • Item of the Game: Check out our Green Item of the Game for sale at Rip City Clothing Co. by entry A6. Clean Energy will receive a portion of the proceeds for each sale.

  • Rip City Magazine:Keep an eye out for the Rip City Magazine feature about our commitment to reducing our energy use per event day, and to continue to offset all of our energy use.

You’ll get customized energy-saving recommendations and learn all kinds of ways to get more from your energy. Plus Energy Trust can help you with cash incentives and finding a trade ally contractor for your home energy project.

Commemorative Poster


The Trail Blazers are hosting a commemorative poster series for each home game of the 2018-19 regular season. Throughout the Poster Series, there will be a limited number of posters printed and available for sale at Rip City Clothing Co. inside the Moda Center. Proceeds from the sales of the Poster Series will be donated to the Trail Blazers Foundation, which will then be granted to local nonprofit organizations. The proceeds from the Energy Game will benefit BEF’s Clean Energy program.

Live Greener

Our second Green Game this season is on April 3rd, and is focused on all of our efforts to Live Greener at the Moda Center. Our nonprofit partner for this game is Green Sports Alliance (GSA), which leverages the cultural and market influence of sports to promote healthy, sustainable communities where people live and play. To support these efforts, we hope you will take part in these activities at Moda Center:

Sports & Sustainability Symposium

The Sports & Sustainability Symposium, hosted by the Green Sports Alliance (GSA), Trail Blazers and the Rose Quarter, will be held on April 3rd, prior to the Live Greener Game. The symposium will convene regional professional and collegiate sports teams and venues, concessionaires, business and public leaders, and athletes to explore how the industry can make plays to advance healthier, more sustainable communities. Programming will highlight sustainable waste, water, and energy practices and solutions, with an emphasis on collegiate and professional sports sectors. Registration includes a ticket to the game.
