Blazers Leave New York With Loss To Knicks

NEW YORK -- Thanks to the NBA schedule makers, the Portland Trail Blazers have been in New York for four days, a welcomed oddity considering teams are often in various cities for less than 24 hours before heading out to the next game. But after four days, the Trail Blazers leave New York City with just one victory. After beating the Nets in Brooklyn on Sunday, the Trail Blazers fell 107-103 to the Knicks in front of a sellout crowd of 19,812 Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.“Every time we lose it is tough,” said Damian Lillard. “You wish you could have a few plays or opportunities back. It is all a part of it. We have to keep fighting and stay with it.”
