Every time the Trail Blazers block a shot, Genentech will donate $25 to the Children’s Cancer Association this season.
Celebrating 25 years of mission impact in 2020, and benefiting more than 30,000 seriously ill kids, teens, and their family members each year, the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA) delivers Joy-based programming that transforms the pediatric healthcare experience.
CCA’s JoyRxTM programs enhance the mental health and emotional well-being of young patients with the healing power of music, friendship, and nature; empowering them to positively shift their emotional states during the stressful and painful experiences related to fighting life-threatening illnesses and extended hospitalizations. CCA knows Joy works. Kids feel better.
Cancer remains the number one cause of death by disease for young patients. And because cancer knows no geographic boundaries – neither should Joy. CCA’s goal is to clinically position and deliver JoyRx as best practice in children’s hospitals across the country.
