Viral star Famous Los led his Home team to victory with 22 points in the 2019 All-Star Celebrity Game.

Well, it makes sense: The winner of the MVP award in the 2019 All-Star Celebrity Game goes by the name of Famous and also was a high school basketball star in North Carolina.

The star-studded show was stolen by Famous Los, the viral comedian whose basketball videos are popular within and beyond NBA circles. He scored 22 points with three assists to lead the Home team over the Visiting team 82-80 and, of course, won the loyal crowd at Bojangles' Coliseum.

Los, whose given name is Carlos Sanford, hails from Durham and played Division II ball at Lincoln Memorial and also Union College. Soon after he quit, he began making humorous basketball videos and became an internet sensation; he has 1.2 million Instagram followers and faithful fans such as Steph Curry.

The winning coach was Dawn Staley, whose team withstood a late charge from Quavo, the 2018 MVP, and Hall of Famer Ray Allen, who took advantage of the 4-point line.

But in the end, the most famous person on the floor was, well, Famous.
