NOTES Tonight’s contest is the first of two meetings between the Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City
Thunder. The two teams will meet again on March 4th in Oklahoma City.
The Wizards won the season series from the Thunder last season, 2-0. In the last year as the Seattle
Supersonics, the Wizards won, 108-86, in Washington on January 6th, and 104-99, on March 26th in
Seattle. The Wizards have won four in a row overall against the Oklahoma City franchise and five
straight contests at Verizon Center.
Last Game...The Wizards lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 93-89, in a Christmas night affair at Quicken
Loans Arena...Washington held seven point lead with 1:40 to go in the game but were unable to hold on
for the victory...Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 28 points and 6 rebounds...Mike James had his
best outing as a Wizard as he finished with 26 points on 10-of-14 from the field with eight of those points

of 19.8 points per game.
