  • Tonight’s game is the first of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers. The Pacers won last season’s series, 2-1.
  • Last contest...The Wizards were defeated, 93-89, by the Miami Heat on November 4th at Verizon Center... Washington battled back from a 19-point first half deficit to tie the game at 66-66 at the end of three quarters....Wade finished with 40 points, a season-high for a Wizards’ opponent this season...Gilbert Arenas led Washington with 32 points, his second game of 30 or more points this season...Brendan Haywood (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Caron Butler (13 points, 10 rebounds) each posted their first double-doubles of the season in the loss.
  • With nine points in tonight’s contest at Indiana, Gilbert Arenas will reach the 10,000 point mark for his career. Arenas is also 17 points shy of reaching 8,000 points as a Wizard.
  • Arenas last game of 30 or more points on the road came in Indiana on October 31, 2007. Arenas scored 34 points for Washington in the 2007-08 season opener.
