GAME NOTES
  • Tonight’s contest is the third of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Orlando Magic. Orlando currently holds a 2-0 advantage in the season series. The Magic won the first contest, 106-81, on November 8th in Orlando, and won the second meeting, 105-90, on Thanksgiving night in Washington. The two teams will meet again for the final time on March 13th in Washington.
  • Last Game...The Wizards defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 80-77, on January 4th in Washington. Antawn Jamison nailed a baseline jumper with 10.5 seconds remaining to seal the victory for the Wizards...Jamison finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds, which marks his 19th double-double of the season... Dominic McGuire posted his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds...Caron Butler scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds…Washington out-rebounded Cleveland, 52-35, while holding them to 39.4 percent shooting from the field...The W izards also held the Cavaliers to their season-low of points in a quarter with 11 in the third period.
