  • Tonight’s contest is the second of three meetings between the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics.The two teams will meet for the final time on April 15th in Boston. The Celtics took the first meeting from Washington, 122-88, on December 11, 2008, at Verizon Center.
  • Last Game...The Wizards lost to the New Orleans Hornets, 97-85, at the New Orleans Arena on December 30th...Antawn Jamison posted his 18th double-double of the season with 22 points and 12 rebounds….Mike James scored 16 points and had seven assists...Andray Blatche was the third Wizards player in double figures as he had 11 points and four rebounds...Washington committed a season low of six turnovers versus New Orleans, but were unable to overcome Chris Paul who posted the first triple-double against the Wizards since Jason Kidd did it in December of 2007.
  • Last Game versus Boston…The Wizards fell to the Boston Celtics, 122-98, at Verizon Center on December 11th...Caron Butler led the Wizards with 19 points...Antawn Jamison finished with 17 points and five rebounds…Juan Dixon scored 17 points, dished out seven assists and had four steals...JaVale McGee added 11 points, six rebounds and three blocks.
