  • Tonight’s game marks the first of two meetings between the Washington Wizards and Dallas Last contest...The Washington Wizards opened their home slate with a 123-104 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Halloween night...Gilbert Arenas led all scorers with 32 points, which marked his first game of 30 or more points since November 14, 2007 (30 pts vs. IND)...Andray Blatche scored a careerhigh 30 points (15-of-18 from the field) in 27:40 minutes of play off of the bench...Washington shot 61.5 percent from the field on their way to 123 points, which is the most points scored at Verizon Center by the Wizards since November 25, 2008, when the team scored 124 points in a win over Golden State.
  • Washington enters tonight’s game with a 2-1 record this season. With a win against the Cavs, Washington would win it’s third game of the season. Last season, the Wizards didn’t get their third in until December 2nd in the 15th game of the season.
  • Washington’s 61.5 percent shooting performance from the field in their last game marks the team’s highest shooting effort since December 18, 2002, when the Wizards shot 61.8 percent from the field in a 118-100 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
  • The Wizards are currently shooting 50.6 percent from the field through the first three games of the season. This represents the highest the Wizards have shot from the field through the first three games of the season since the 1978-79 season.
