The Washington Wizards won three Emmy’s at the 52nd Emmy Awards for the Capital Region, which is a part of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). A total of 83 different categories were awarded for broadcast excellence in the DC metropolitan area as part of the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences selects judges from the remaining chapters in the association, who are then asked to vote on the award recipients for each category. “We wanted the marketing campaign to emulate the key characteristics of our brand,” said Washington Wizards Chief Marketing Officer Jane Taylor. “To win one Emmy is amazing, but three is outstanding.”
