Wizards Magazine Receives Emmy Nomination

The Washington Wizards’ documentary, “Wizards Magazine-The Journey”, which chronicled the team’s 2010-11 season was nominated for a Capital Emmy in the category of editing. Episode 203 titled “Living the Game” was filmed and edited by Director/Producer Jumoke Davis and Cinematographer Kevin Bradley. It is the first nomination for Wizards Magazine since the 2005-06 season. The show airs on the team’s broadcast partner, Comcast SportsNet, with episodes also available on the team’s official website.

“It is an honor to be nominated for an Emmy,” stated Davis. “We worked hard during the season therefore it is nice to be recognized for our work. It is a pleasure to work with the Wizards and be around the team to show their efforts on and off the court. It is also nice to know that others in the industry believe that our show measures up to the quality of television in the region.”

The Capital Emmy ceremony will be held on June 25, 2011 in Washington, D.C.
