Wizards Announce 2005 Training Camp Schedule

Team to Hold Training Camp at Virginia Commonwealth University;
Wizards to Host an Open Scrimmage on Saturday, October 8

Wizards President of Basketball Operations Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team will conduct training camp at the Siegel Center on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA from October 4 - 9.

In addition, the Wizards will host an open scrimmage, free to the public, on Saturday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m..

“We are excited about returning to Richmond for training camp,” Grunfeld said. “The Siegel Center is a first-class facility and we are very appreciative of all their hospitality and great accommodations. We also look forward to having an open scrimmage for our fans in the Richmond area.”

A complete practice schedule detailing dates and times will be released at a later date.
