Brendan Haywood scored 13 points in a win against the Magic, and after the game added a future date to his calendar. Not a bad night.

After the Wizards held off the visiting Orlando Magic Wednesday night at MCI Center, one lucky fan scored big...literally.
The Wizards hosted their first ever Singles Night at Wednesday night's Wizards-Magic game at MCI Center, where fans had a chance to win a date with center Brendan Haywood, Baltimore Ravens safety Will Demps, and a Wizards Dance Team member.
Lesley Pinkston from St. Louis, MO was the big post-game winner by landing a date with the seven-foot Haywood, while the half-time Dating Game saw Margarita Correa from Kensington, MD win the rights to add Demps to her upcoming calendar. Nathan Taylor of Alexandria, VA was the evening's lucky bachelor as he departed the arena with Wizards Dancer Jeanne locked into his future schedule.
Singles Night was designed for Washington, DC area singles to meet and mingle while enjoying exciting NBA basketball.
The remaining four Singles Night games for the season are as follows:
Friday, December 10 versus New York Knicks
Thursday, January 6 versus Seattle SuperSonics
Wednesday, March 2 versus Houston Rockets
Tuesday, April 5 versus Boston Celtics
Each future Singles Night will consist of a full evening of singles events before, during and after the game. These events include Speed Dating, where singles will be matched up together, talk for a few minutes and then move on, and ice breakers - where singles can meet some new friends, play some games and win a few prizes.
