Washington Wizards President of Basketball Operations Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the organization will head back to Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2005 Reebok Vegas Summer League, which will be held July 6-15. This is the second consecutive year that the Wizards will compete in the Vegas Summer League. Last summer, the Wizards summer league team won four of the five games played in the inaugural event. This summer, the Wizards will compete against summer league squads from Chicago, New Orleans, New York, Golden State, Orlando and Portland.

Reebok Vegas Summer League expanded from six teams last year to 16 NBA teams this year that will compete in a 10-day, 43-game schedule. In addition to the Wizards’ opponents, Boston, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver, Sacramento, Dallas, New Jersey, Phoenix, Detroit and Cleveland will compete in the summer league.
