GAME
NOTES Tonight’s game is the first of three meetings between the Washington Wizards and Toronto
Raptors. Last season the Raptors took the season series, 2-1.
Last contest...The Wizards were defeated by the Charlotte Bobcats, 92-76, at Verizon Center
on November 28th…Caron Butler led all scorers with 19 points on 6-of-11 from the field to go
along with seven rebounds...Brendan Haywood scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds...
Nick Young scored 10 points for Washington.
Antawn Jamison averaged 26.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in three games versus Toronto last
season. This marked his second scoring average against teams he faced three or more times
last season (Jamison averaged 29.7 points in three games versus Indiana last season).
Caron Butler averaged 21.3 points and 6.7 rebounds versus Toronto last season.
Butler will play in his 500th career game tonight.
Haywood is second in the NBA in offensive rebounds per game at 4.3.
