The Wizards could not recover from a double-digit deficit in the third quarter in a 105-88 Game 6 loss to the visiting Cavs on Friday. Antawn Jamison scored 23 for the Wizards.

Caron Butler scored on a layup with 3.9 seconds left to lift the Wizards to an 88-87 road win over the Cavs Wednesday in Game 5 of their first-round series. Butler scored 32 points for the Wizards, which trail the series 3-2.

Gilbert Arenas tied the game with a jumper with 28 seconds left, but the Cavs answered with a 3-pointer to hand the Wizards a 100-97 home loss Sunday. Antawn Jamison scored a team-high 23 points. The Wizards now trail the series, 3-1.
