Wizards Activate Hayes Off Injured List

Team places Chris Whitney off injured list with right plantar fasciitis

The Washington Wizards have activated Jarvis Hayes from the Injured List, and placed Chris Whitney on the Injured List with right Plantar Fasciitis.

The Wizards placed Hayes on the Injured List on March 23 with a strained left hamstring. Prior to being placed on the Injured List, Hayes appeared in 64 games averaging 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

Whitney has seen action in 16 games this season and is averaging 2.9 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per contest.
