Game Preview: Wizards vs. Pacers

GAME NOTES

• Tonight’s game is the second of three match-ups between the Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers. The Pacers currently lead the season series, 1-0. The two teams will meet again on April 4th at Verizon Center.
• Last game versus Detroit Pistons...The Wizards fell to the Detroit Pistons, 79-77, on March 26th at Verizon Center...Jordan Crawford scored 20 points and had five assists...John Wall recorded 14 points, nine assists and seven rebounds...Kevin Seraphin scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds... Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 24 points.
• Last time versus Indiana …The Wizards fell to the Indiana Pacers, 85-83, on March 22nd at Verizon Center...Jordan Crawford scored a game-high 21 points...John Wall recorded 16 points, nine assists and four rebounds...Chris Singleton had a career-high tying 16 points...Roy Hibbert led the Pacers with 19 points and nine rebounds.
• Crawford is averaging 17.4 points per game in 16 games since the All-Star break. Crawford is averaging 16.2 points per game in 17 starts this season.
• In their last seven games, the Wizards are holding opponents to 90.5 points per game.
• The Wizards have not allowed an opponent to score 100 points or more in their last six games. The last time the Wizards held their opponents to under 100 points in six consecutive games was January 4- 12 of 2010.
• Key Matchup: Nene vs Roy Hibbert - Since acquiring Nene, the Wizards have yet to allow an opponent reach 100 points and his defense has been a big part of that. He also has already tallied two double-doubles in five games with the Wizards, but tonight he goes up against the bigger Roy Hibbert. Standing at 7'2, Hibbert's length can be difficult to defend, but Nene will need to use his strength and experience to outduel the former Hoya.
