Knicks. The Knicks won the first meeting, 99-96, on January 6th at Verizon Center. The two
teams will meet again on April 13th at Madison Square Garden in New York.

assists and five rebounds...Nick Young scored 29 points and grabbed five rebounds...Trevor Booker

- Last time versus New York…The Wizards were defeated by the New York Knicks, 99-96, on January
6th at Verizon Center...Nick Young led the Wizards 24 points...John Wall scored 22 points
and had nine assists....
- With four points tonight, Rashard Lewis will reach the 15,000 career point plateau. Lewis will join
Paul Pierce and Jason Kidd as the only players in NBA history who have scored at least 15,000
points, grabbed 5,000 rebounds and hit 1,500 three-pointers in their careers.
- Nick Young is averaging 21.0 points per game in his last three games versus the Knicks.
- The Wizards currently lead the NBA in blocks per game at 7.9 bpg.
-
Key Matchup: John Wall vs. Jeremy Lin - What would have seemed like a big advantage for the Wizards just a week ago, now is the most intriguing match-up of the night as Jeremy Lin has come out of nowhere to average 26.5 points and 7.5 assists in the Knicks last two games. He is creating a lot of buzz around the league, but after Tuesday's practice, he was fully aware of the match-up he was up against tonight at Verizon Center. Lin called Wall the fastest guard in the league and acknowledged that he will have his hands full with the Wizards point guard. Wall is coming off one of the better games of his career and one that Head Coach Randy Wittman said was his best all around game. Wall dropped in a game-high 31 points, dished out seven assists, and pulled down five rebounds to lead the Wizards to a 111-108 victory on Monday night against Toronto. This should be a fun one to watch and should garner a lot of attention across the NBA.
- Tonight's game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet or NBATV and heard on WJFK The Fan 106.7 at 7:00pm.
