GAME NOTES
- Tonight’s game is the third of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Milwaukee
Bucks. The Bucks currently lead the season series, 2-0.
- Last game versus Toronto Raptors...The Wizards fell to the Toronto Raptors, 99-92, last night
at Air Canada Centre in Toronto...Jordan Crawford led the Wizards with 18 points...Kevin
Seraphin scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds...Chris Singleton had
15 points, including going four-of-four from three-point range...John Wall recorded a doubledouble
with 13 points and 11 assists...Jan Vesely scored 10 points...Roger Mason scored 12
points off of the bench...The Wizards had all five starters score in double figures for the first
time since April 3, 2011 in Charlotte.
- In their last 11 games, the Wizards are holding opponents to 90.2 points per game on .426
percent from the field.
- The Wizards have not allowed an opponent to score 100 points or more in their last nine
games. The last time the Wizards held their opponents to under 100 points in nine consecutive
games was November 30-December 17 of 2002. The last time the Wizards held 10 consecutive
opponents under 100 points was December 6-21 of 2001.
- Jordan Crawford is averaging 21.5 points in two games versus the Bucks this season.
- John Wall is averaging 12.5 points and 11.0 assists in two games versus the Bucks this season.
-
Injury Update: Both Trevor Booker and Nene are questionable for tonight's game with plantar fasciitis.
-
Key Matchup - John Wall vs. Brandon Jennings - Two of the NBA's more entertaining young point guards will square off tonight at Verizon Center as John Wall and Brandon Jennings go toe-to-toe with one another. In their last meeting, Wall went off for 19 points and 15 assists, but it was Jennings' Bucks who came away with the one point win, fueled by Jennings' 14 points and 10 assists. They are two of the better ball handlers in the league and can both blow by nearly any defender in the league. Both should be able to put up offensive numbers tonight, but stopping the other guy may be the key to winning tonight's game.
- Tonight's game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet+ or heard on WJFK The Fan 106.7 at 7:00pm
