On making his second consecutive All-Star appearance:
“This is a dream come true for me. Obviously, being in Las Vegas for my first time was big, and it was an emotional rollercoaster. It will be a great experience going with another one of my teammates, Antawn Jamison.”

On being selected to All-Star team along with teammates Antawn Jamison:
“Having Antawn out there with me will be fun. He is a great teammate. He is a guy I love playing alongside with. I am making my second All-Star appearance, and he is making his second All-Star appearance as well. This is a great opportunity for the both of us.”

On the Wizards:
“It is very satisfying because a lot of people doubted us. A lot people thought we wouldn’t be able to turn everything around. As captains, Antawn and I decided to take the lead and lead the team on the court and off the court. We have players on the team who have raised their level of play.”

On the Wizards organization:
“Mr. Pollin just called me to congratulate me on making the All-Star team. I love him as a person and as an owner. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for him. He brought me in the trade for Kwame Brown. At the time I didn’t know where it was going but it has ended up being one of the best moves of my life. Ernie Grunfeld has been watching me play for many years even when I was in high school in the Midwest area. Coach Jordan has giving me the opportunity to grow as a player and as a man. I give everybody the utmost respect in the organization for giving me the opportunity to perform at a high level here in Washington.”
