Tonight we were extremely competitive in our scrimmages and it's much further along then the execution is, but we play hard.
Our blue team, the second unit, has actually done a better job then our white team, the first unit, in our scrimmages the last three or four days because they have to execute better in their offense to stay in the games, and they have done that.
Now I don’t think that we have determined a first or second unit yet, but we’re trying to get somewhat of a starting unit together, and the blue team, the second unit down here, has been so competitive and has run their offense better than the white team and they have done it to stay in the games with the white team.
The last two nights have been extremely competitive, going down to the last shot. We’re a little bit fatigued which I think is part of the reason for the lack of execution because fatigue makes cowards of us all. The thing that I like about the scrimmages is that the effort has been tremendous.
This morning we cut our practice a little bit short because we could tell that the bodies were talking to the players and we have some sore legs and things like that. Tonight we had a meeting with one of the NBA officials and the meeting lasted almost an hour and a half, which cut in our practice time a little bit short so we could get our scrimmage in.
I think tomorrow we'll come in and have a real thinking man’s practice, trying to continue to read defenses and when to make certain cuts at what time, and get some work done in the morning and then come back and play hard in front of our crowd.
