The Wizards closed out Training Camp, departing the University of North Carolina - Wilmington Wednesday afternoon. The Wizards would like to thank the university as well as the city of Wilmington for their hospitality during the past week.


The Wizards spent their final evening in Wilmington, NC last night by holding an open scrimmage at Trask Coliseum on the campus of UNC Wilmington. The white team coached by assistant coach Brian James dominated the blue team coached by assistant coach Larry Drew in both 20 minute games, 30-19 and 31-15.

    Jeffries Bounces Back
    Wizards rookie Jared Jeffries was back on the practice floor for Friday's night session after missing most of the morning session with a bruised left shoulder. The injury happened in the early part of the morning session when Jeffries took a hard foul from a teammate while going up for a dunk.
