The 2013-14 season came to a close for the Wizards with a 93-80 loss in game 6 to the Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. With the victory, Indiana wins the series 4-2 and advances on to face Miami in the Eastern Conference finals. With the Wizards eliminated a 16 point second half deficit and briefly took the lead with 8:30 to go in the fourth quarter, but ran out of gas in the end.

David West was the man of the hour for the Pacers, as he led all five starters in double figures with 29 points. Stephenson scored 17 and George chipped in 12.

Gortat was Washington's go to guy for the second game in a row, scoring 19 points on 7/12 shooting. Beal was next in line with 16 points, Nene scored 15 and Wall had 12 points and nine assists.

Key Moment

With 8:30 to go in the fourth quarter, Bradley Beal knocked down a triple on the break to give Washington their first lead since the opening moments of the game, 74-73. From there they ran out of gas, scoring just two points over the next seven minutes as Indiana ran away with the game.

Player of the Game

David West led the Pacers in a big way, scoring 29 points on 13/26 shooting. He grabbed six boards, dished out four assists and was a game-high +15.
