The Wizards jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter, holding the Thunder to just 13 points but the Thunder closed to within four by the half. The second half was all Wizards though as they outscored the Thunder by ten in the third quarter and cruised to victory. John Wall had 17 points, 15 assists and six steals to pace the Wizards while Marcin Gortat had 14 points and 14 boards. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 26 in the loss.

The Thunder cut the Wizards lead to just one with 4:20 to go in the third quarter. The Wizards responded immediately with 8-0 run over the next 1:20 to go up by nine and would never be seriously threatened again.

Player of the Game

John Wall became the third player in the last 10 years to have at least 15 points, 15 assists and six steals, finishing with 17, 15 and six. All-star indeed.
