This one was all Bulls from the get go as the Wizards fell at Verizon Center, 96-78. The first half saw the Bulls double up the Wizards and while the Wizards made a run in the third quarter, they never were able to cut the Bulls lead to single digits and Chicago cruised in the fourth quarter. The Bulls showed off their stingy defense, holding the Wizards to under 40% shooting on the night. DJ Augustin led the Bulls with 25 points off the bench, outscoring the Wizards bench all by himself. Noah was the other star for the Bulls, going for 21 and 12. Gortat, Wall and Beal were the only three Wizards to have much success on the offensive end, combining for 53 of the Wizrads' 78 points.

Key Moment

The Wizards looked to have gotten themselves back into the game during the third quarter, cutting a once 26 point lead to just 11 with about a minute to go in the frame. The Bulls closed the third on a 4-0 run though, and then opened the fourth on a 12-2 run to put the game to bed.

Player of the Game

Joakim Noah was simply a beast in this one, showing why most have him in the top five on their MVP ballots. He scored 21 on 9/13 shooting, grabbed 12 boards and dished out three assists.

Key Number

26. The 26 points the Wizards scored in the first half was their lowest scoring half of the year.

Unsung Hero

Gortat actually fared pretty well in his matchup with Noah, and had a nice game in front of all of his fans on Polish Heritage night. He finished with 19 points on 8/11 shooting and grabbed eight boards.
