Recap

The Wizards were down almost the entire way but a Nene tip at the end of regulation sent it to OT and the Wizards closed out the Nets in the extra session 112-108. Bradley Beal tied his career high with 29 points, Nene had 20 points, 8 boards, John Wall had 17 points, 14 assists and Marcin Gortat had 15 points, 12 rebounds.

Key Moment

Nene was phenomenal down the stretch scoring the Wizards last nine points in regulation. The biggest basket of course was his tip of a John Wall miss with just over a second to play. Nene's tip tied the game at 99 and forced OT when the Nets missed at the buzzer.

Player of the Game

This really could go to Nene, Wall or Beal as all three were phenomenal but tonight it goes to Nene. He was so clutch down the stretch and saved the game with his put back at the end of regulation. He finished with 20 points on a tidy 8/12 shooting to go along with eight boards.

Key Number

8. Pierce and Garnett combined for just eight points on 3/16 shooting. Pierce did not score until OT and if he hadn't, it would have been the first time 1,090 games he went scoreless.

Unsung Hero

He didn't play much late, but earlier in the game Al Harrington was huge in keeping the Wizards in this one. He finished with 15 points off the bench on 5/11 shooting, including 4/6 from long distance.
