Nene and Wall both had a chance to win it but both jumpers were no good at the buzzer in regulation and overtime respectively. The Wizards got back into the game by coming out of the halftime break on fire, outscoring the Celtics 30-15 in the third frame. John Wall did have his second career triple-double, finishing with 28 points, 11 boards and 10 assists. Jeff Green led all scorers with 39 points and a career high eight made threes.

Key Moment

After Marcin Gortat hit 1/2 free throws to tie the game, the Celtics got the ball with just under 10 seconds to go in regulation. The play went to Gerald Wallace who drove to the hoop and hit a tough runner with 2.5 seconds to go to give the Celtics a two point lead. The Wizards went to John Wall at the buzzer but his three did not fall and the Celtics escaped with the victory.

This is a toss up between Jeff Green and John Wall, both of whom carried their teams. Green finished with the second highest scoring game of his career, scoring 39 points on 14/26 shooting. He also hit a career high eight triples and grabbed nine boards. Wall had the second triple double of his career, finishing with 28 points, 11 boards and 10 assists.
