The Wizards maintained their hold on the sixth seed by beating the Bucks at Verizon Center, 104-91. The game was close at the half but the Wizards outscored the Bucks by 10 in the third quarter to put the game away as the Bucks would never get within single digits in the fourth. Bradley Beal paced all scorers with 26 points while Marcin Gortat recorded yet another double-double, finishing with 13 points and 13 boards. John Wall just missed his double-double, chipping in 15 points and eight assists. Khris Middleton and Ramon Sessions led the Bucks with 20 points each in the loss.

Key Moment

Over a three minute stretch in the middle of the third quarter, the Wizards went on a 13-1 run to take a two point game and make it a 14 point game and effectively put the game to bed. Webster capped the run with a deep triple.

Player of the Game

Bradley Beal shot the ball and was aggressive all night, scoring 26 points on 12/22 shooting. He added five assists and three boards.

20-9. The Bobcats turned it over more than twice as much as the Wizards on the night.
