It took overtime to get it done, but the Wizards got their third straight win and fifth in their last six games, taking down the Bucks in Milwaukee, 100-92. At the end of regulation, O.J. Mayo hit a deep three to tie things up and John Wall had a chance to win it on the last possession, but his floater bounced out. The Wizards would then control the extra session, locking down on defense and outscoring the Bucks 13-5 to get the victory.

Key Moment

The Wizards went more than four minutes without a bucket and trailed by three with under a minute left when Martell Webster sank a corner 3-pointer to tie the score at 84. Webster was fouled on the play for his signature 4-point play, but was unable to convert at the free-throw line. Still, the three was a huge lift to the Wizards and helped send the game into the overtime session.

Player of the Game

Marcin Gortat wins tonight's player of the game award as he was outstanding from beginning to end. He finished with a season-high 25 points on 11/12 shooting. He made his first nine shots of the night and scored six points in the overtime frame to help the Wizards seal a win.

Key Number

7. Martell Webster set a career-high with seven assists to lead the team tonight. The Wizards had 27 assists on 37 made shots.

Unsung Hero

Garrett Temple came off the bench and did a nice job in 22 minutes of action. He finished the game with 6p, 3r, 4a, 2st and gave the Wizards a lift in the first half. He was aggressive when the team needed him to be and solid on the defensive end.
