The Washington Wizards are looking for beautiful and highly talented ladies to cheer on the Wizards at every home game. Auditions for the 2009-10 season will take place in June, but here is your chance to start getting ready now by signing up for Wizard Girls prep classes.
Learn from current Wizard Girls and the coaches on how to impress the judges with NBA-style dancing, appearance, and personality at one or all of the Prep Classes to be held at area Bally Total Fitness gyms and the Verizon Center. Prep classes cost $20 per session so register now for as many prep classes as you need to give you a competitive edge at tryouts. Before you fill out the form, here is a short list of what is expected in order to become a Wizard Girl.
Wizard Girls take the court with poise and pep, we are looking for energy, personality, and charisma.
Wizard Girls are beautiful NBA cheerleaders, we are looking for model beauty and fitness.
Wizard Girls interact with our fans, we want cheerful and positive communication skills.
Wizard Girls perform several times per game, we are looking for participants with jazz/hip hop dance skills.
The Wizard Girls produce a Swimsuit Calendar, be "bikini-ready" for a swimsuit component during tryouts.
