Wizards Care is the community service program of the Washington Wizards.
The entire organization--from team owners Irene and Abe Pollin to players,
coaches and employees--is committed to investing time and resources to
Wizards Care. By providing assistance to the youth, homeless and underserved
in the D.C. metropolitan area, Wizards Care hopes to inspire others to
do the same.

-- Caron Butler and the Washington Wizards invite 11-18 year
olds in the Washington DC Metropolitan area to use Caron's 3Ds
– Dedication, Determination and Discipline -- to Succeed. Local
youth will be recognized and rewarded for using one of these
3Ds to overcome adversity, build character or power achievement

Want to wear jeans to work? Participate in the second annual Wizards Care Jeans Day benefiting Capital Area Food Bank. By participating, your company selects a date to encourage employees to wear jeans to work in return for an individual donation of $5 or more to Wizards Care. Click here for more information.

Collect-a-Can-From-a-Fan
Fans, donate a canned food item to the Wizards canned food drive, at any Wizards home game during the month of November, and receive a ticket voucher good for a future Washington Wizards home game! The Wizards will be running their Toyland drive for all December games and Caron's Coats for Kids on January 10th. All fans that donate a toy in December or a coat on January 10th will also receive a ticket voucher for a future Wizards game.

This season Wizards Care will be holding a raffle for select games.
Wizards Care Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 and the Wizards will announce the winner at the conclusion of the third quarter. The winner will receive two (2) free tickets to a Wizards game during the 2009-2010 regular season and half (50%) of the cash raffle pot.

On Tuesday, Wizards coaches and front office personnel hosted ‘Abe’s Table Holiday Luncheon’ for DC area senior citizens. 250 seniors were treated to a hot holiday meal in Verizon Center’s Acela Club by President Ernie Grunfeld, Head Coach Flip Saunders and Assistant Coaches Randy Wittman, Don Zierden, Wes Unseld Jr., Ryan Saunders and others.
