12 Days of Holiday Cheer

This holiday season the Washington Wizards will be performing twelve random acts of holiday cheer around the Washington, DC community, beginning December 1st and ending on December 23rd. Below is a preview of the events for each of the Twelve Days of Holiday Cheer.
Day 1 – Saturday, December 1 – “Thank you for your service” Night
Wizards forward Andray Blatche will partner with Dunkin Donuts to provide 500 tickets and $25 Dunkin Donuts gift cards to Police, Fire and EMS workers from the District of Columbia.
Day 2 – Tuesday, December 4 – Jamisons host injured soldiers for screening of The Perfect Holiday
Antawn and Ione Jamison, along with Yari Fil Group will host a private advance screening of the film The Perfect Holiday for injured soldiers and their families. The event will include special guest appearances by cast members Gabrielle Union, Morris Chestnut and Charlie Murphy.
Day 3 – Saturday, December 8 – Family Holiday Party for the Blind
Wizards Dancers attend Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind's Family Holiday Party.
Day 4 – Sunday December 9 – Dads, Daughters & Donuts
Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan and his daughter Skylar will host a pre-game breakfast and meet and greet for season ticket holders and their daughters.
Day 5 – Monday, December 10 – Abe’s Table Holiday Luncheon for Senior Citizens
Wizards coaches and front office executives will host 100 senior citizens for lunch at the Acela Club.
Day 6 - Thursday, December 13 – Holiday Dinner for Bright Beginnings families
The Wizards Wives will host a holiday dinner at Bright Beginnings and watch the Wizards @ Miami game with the families at the facility.
Day 7 – Saturday, December 15 – Wizards Winter Toyland Drive
The first 100 fans to donate a brand new toy will get to have their picture taken with a Wizards Dancer.
Day 8 – Monday, December 17 – Family-to-Family
Wizards players and coaches will deliver gifts to four of the six local families adopted for this holiday season.
Day 9 – Tuesday, December 18 – Holiday Gift Basket Distribution
Wizards players, dancers and mascot G-Wiz will work with Feed the Children and Salvation Army to distribute food, personal care items and other necessities to children and families in need at Moten Elementary School.
Day 10 – Thursday, December 20 – Butler’s Bike Brigade
Caron Butler will donate and deliver 100 bikes and helmets to children at a local recreation center.
Day 11 – Friday, December 21 – American Express gift card donations
50 local educators will receive American Express gift cards at the game vs. Atlanta Hawks.
Day 12 – Sunday, December 23 – Gilbert’s Christmas Dream Skate Party
Gilbert Arenas will host a skating party for local homeless children at the D-light Skate Palace.
