He’s Back… and determined
to do more to help area schools. Last season
Gilbert Arenas raised $215,000 for public schools throughout the Washington DC
Metropolitan Community, through his inaugural program, Gilbert Scores for Schools.
This 3-time All-Star is ready to assist again this year as he pledges to score dollars
for more schools. In partnership with the Wizards and his foundation ZeroTwoHero,
Gilbert and team owners Irene & Abe Pollin, again will donate $100 per point
scored by Gilbert during every Wizards regular season game for the
2007-2008 season.
To Participate You Must:

complete, and return
in its entirety entry application by Friday,
October 5, 2007.
Each application must be accompanied by
a letter of authorization for
participation by your respective school district heads on letter head. Letter
should also include who and where donation check should be mailed.
Raffle is open to all Public schools within
a 75 mile radius of the Verizon Center.
One entry application per school.
One - Two (1-2) school administrator and
maximum of five (5) students
must be present day of drawing-MUST be present to win.
Winning Schools:
Required to spend funds in one or several
of the following areas:
=> Technology i.e. computers, software upgrade,
=> Nutrition/Health i.e. healthy snack machines,
=> Athletics i.e. new uniforms, balls, gloves, jump ropes, scoreboards,
backboards etc.
Must attend designated game, and provide
a schools spokesperson for in-game interview.
Must be submit receipt to Wizards official
in a timely manner after donation has been received.
