The Washington Wizards and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield are proud to announce that CareFirst is sponsoring the "Community Threes" initiative for the fourth consecutive season. For every three-point shot made by a Wizards’ player this season, CareFirst is donating $100 to the DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. The mission of the DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is to improve the lives and well being of adolescents in Washington, DC.
This season the Washington Wizards made 575 three-pointers raising 57,500.

Devou, CareFirst Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “We are happy to team with the Wizards on this valuable community program that has become a fixture of CareFirst’s community efforts in the DC area.”
