Warriors Basketball Camp: Winter/Spring 2010-11

Warriors Basketball Camp continues to offer the most complete camp experience in Northern California.
During the 2010-11 Winter and Spring, kids ages 7 to 17 enjoyed several sessions taking place throughout the Bay Area.
Some of the sessions took place at Oracle Arena, which gave participants the chance to play on the Warriors home floor.
Among the many benefits of Warriors Basketball Camp are constant visits from Warriors players and coaches.
Campers at the Holiday Skills Clinic in December were treated to a visit from Warriors Assistant Coach Jerry Sichting.
Also in December, Warriors big man Lou Amundson made an appearance at a camp at Foothill College.
In January, forward Vladimir Radmanovic visited the Martin Luther King Day Skills Clinic at Oracle Arena
and in February, first-year Assistant Coach Lloyd Pierce paid a visit to a Guard Clinic on the Warriors home floor.
The action continued in March, when Andris Biedrins visited a session in Oakley.
The special guests addressed the campers as a group
while also taking the time to answer any questions that they might have had.
In addition, the Warriors players and coaches took an active role in instructing the kids at the camp.
Several of the tips they offered the youngsters at Warriors Basketball Camp are the same ones they give to their NBA players at practices.
In addition to hearing from the pros, campers enjoyed expert instruction from a dedicated and experienced Warriors Youth Basketball staff.
With limited enrollment at each session of Warriors Basketball Camp is limited, each camper received plenty of individual attention.
During the winter and spring months, Warriors Basketball Camp hosted several specialty clinics.
However, the fundamentals of basketball were constantly stressed throughout each session.
Campers worked on all aspects of their game

defense and much more.
The skills learned at Warriors Basketball Camp will certainly benefit the participants, whether its in an organized league or out in the schoolyard.
