Warriors Basketball Camp - Summer 2009
January 1, 2009
As the school year wound down, camp season heated up in the summer of 2009.
From general weeklong sessions to single-day specialty clinics, boys and girls ages 7 to 15 enjoyed dozens of sessions of Warriors Basketball Camp throughout the Bay Area.
A dedicated and experienced camp staff helped campers improve their baskeball fundamentals.
In addition to the top-tier instruction, camp participants were also greeted with visits from the likes of Warriors forward Anthony Randolph ...
... Ronny Turiaf ...
... Warriors legend Alvin Attles ...
... former NBA player and veteran Warriors announcer Jim Barnett ...
... Assistant Coach Keith Smart ...
... Assistant Coach Russell Turner ...
... Assistant Coach Stephen Silas and many more.
All of the featured guests made themselves available to sign autographs for the campers.
In addition, the featured guests discussed the finer points of basketball with the campers.
Campers were all ears when such an esteemed speaker made an appearance.
Not only did the special guests speak to the kids, but they also took an active teaching role at the camps.
After the camp's featured guest demonstrated a proper way to conduct a drill ...
... the campers would then have their chance to try it for themselves.
Throughout each session, camp staff and featured guests led the kids through many drills to improve their game.
And best of all, Warriors Basketball Camp offered plenty of 1-on-1 attention for each camper.
Individual instruction from the experts is one of the many things that make Warriors Basketball Camp the most complete camp experience in Northern California.
At the end of each session, the campers took part in a scrimmage to put all of what they learned into practice.
Camp awards were also given out at the end of each session to recognize some of the camp's standout performances.
Registration for several upcoming sessions of Warriors Basketball Camp is available for kids of all ages and skill levels.
