Warriors Sign Season Ticket Holder Ed Hadad
Sunnyvale Resident Returns For Seventh Season Under Risk-Free Renewal Agreement

The Golden State Warriors have signed season ticket holder Ed Hadad for the 2011-12 season, co-owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber announced today. A member of the greatest fan base in all of professional sports, Hadad came to terms on a risk-free agreement that will ensure his place at Oracle Arena next season.

“This renewal plan is just one small example of our commitment to our shareholders,” said Lacob. “We owe it to our incredible fans, like Ed, to raise our level of expectations for this organization and to perform at the highest level in all possible phases.”

Hadad, who resides in Sunnyvale, has been a season ticket holder since the 2005 campaign. He attends approximately 20 games each season with family and friends and lists David Lee as his favorite Golden State player due to how he carriers himself on and off the court.

“It is so much fun to go to the games,” said Hadad, who notes he does not have a favorite all-time Warrior because he supports everyone on the team. “The environment is great and very special at Oracle Arena. It is always exciting.”

Hadad’s fondest memory from this season was the Warriors’ 99-92 win over the Dallas Mavericks on April 2, when Monta Ellis scored 32 points and helped the team rekindle memories of the 2007 NBA Playoffs. He considers the Mavs to be “a great rivalry” and is looking forward to many more battles with the upper echelon teams in the NBA in the future.

“I am really excited about the future of the team,” said Hadad. “I think we have a great foundation and I like the way the new ownership has positioned the team.”

“We feel very fortunate to retain a fan like Ed for the upcoming season,” said Guber. “He is a valued member of our organization, and one of the key components to the unmatched atmosphere at Oracle Arena. Our goal is to honor and reward our fans’ loyalty in every way possible.”

As a renewed season ticket holder, Hadad was automatically entered for the chance to win prizes at a recent Warriors game, including the opportunity to shoot a half court shot for $10,000 cash. See a video recap of his experience below, including the prize package he chose.
