Warriors Hire MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER for Unique Ad Campaign

The Warriors hired MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER to develop the team’s unique television commercials to tip-off the Warriors 2012-13 season. The commercials, which were shot in September when the players were working out in Oakland prior to the season, are currently running in the Bay Area and feature Warriors’ players sweating it out on the court, in the gym and during training sessions highlighting the hard work and countless hours they have put in this off-season to prepare for the upcoming season.

“Heading into the 2012-13 season we wanted to give our fans a behind-the-scenes look at how hard the team has been working during the off-season,” said Warriors Chief Marketing Officer Chip Bowers. “Working with MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER we were able to capture these moments and create spots we know our fans will love.”

Warriors commercials are available on Warriors TV, Warriors YouTube Channel and can be seen on local Bay Area television stations throughout the 2012-13 season. An additional commercial will be released in the coming weeks.

“Working with the Warriors has been a blast,” said MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER Chief Creative John Matejczyk. “With MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER being based in the Bay Area, it is great to work with a local brand like the Warriors and give their fans access into a side of the team they’ve never seen before.”

The spots were directed by the duo of John Matejczyk and his creative partner, Diko Daghlian. The production company Identity gave an assist, along with DP Chris Norr, who also shot the current, and wildly popular horror film, Sinister.
